Autocross and drift event are on the same day. I will be racing in the autox but I won't be in the drift event(160 bucks!! That's why, also I still need my tires). What should I do?

Just do the AutoX. It's silly to spend $160 to go and burn up some rubber that costs more than that. Plus unless it is on a wide open skid pad there is a great deal more danger for damage to your car. Drifting is just really hard on cars, unless you are on your prius tires still and you haven't gotten your sticky tires and new wheels. Did you make up your mind yet and order that shit?? cause you need to get on that shit son.

No no no, I will only be watching the drift event. I am not a big enough idiot to try and do a drift event in a new car.
I have made up my mind, but I want to keep pushing myself with the stock wheels and terrible all seasons(bad for grip at least). I would have came first in C stock but I am in STX cause I made my car moar louder, but not any faster.
As for tires, I am not sure yet, I want MPSS but money. Plus I don't want the grip to exceed my skill so I might just get a less grippy all season tire(but grippier than before) I am for sure going to get Rota Titans though.

I always do a bit of sliding on the autox course. It is bound to happen in this car. I always feel like a badass though.

Exactly. If you go to the drift thing, I have a feeling all you'll be thinking is "damn, I could be having fun in my own car right now."

Ah, reading comprehension is off right now. . . sorry. . . The Rivals are probably cheaper than the super sports but I havn't looked up prices, but you are probably right in not going super grippy until you get used to the car and then get your suspension. the super sports would be way more tire than your stock setup could handle.
Sucks you got put into STX, that is a big money class to be competitive, but you get more room to play around with your mods though.

Yeah they are about 100 dollars cheaper, and I think they have better dry grip as well. That tire life though, as these will be my DD set up for 3/4 of the year. These may be a bit to aggressive in the rain or the colder weather, but I have never driven on them so I wouldn't know. I want my skill to be better than my tires, which I don't think has happened yet. My times are kind of consistent, and I am fairly quick, but they can be a little more steady and a little bit faster me thinks. . .
It isn't too big of a deal to be put into STX, I just want to become a better driver, there is friendly competition between people but it is mostly just me trying to beat me. Plus I was bound to go there anyway, I am getting 17x9 wheels, which would put me in STX anyway

That's true, but then again, I do like watching loud cars. Damn this is a hard choice, I am leaning towards the autocross, plus it is in a super awesome track deal. So I mean you get like 8 to 10 runs and each are like 60 to 80 seconds.
